Shogun's Rock

by Ali Pouladi

(sung to the tune of "Jailhouse Rock")

Kunitoki threw a party in the Lin Fen Vale,
The Samurai band was there and they began to wail.
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing,
You should've heard those knocked-out henchmen sing!
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock,
Everybody in the Shogun’s whole flock,
was dancin' to the Shogun Rock.

His Captain played the tenor saxophone,
Shogun’s Mouth was blowin' on the slide trombone.
The Leader of Samurais went crash, boom, bang,
the whole rhythm section was the hairless gang.
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock,
Everybody in Shogun’s whole flock,
was dancin' to the Shogun Rock.

The Head of Fujiwara said to number three:
"You're the cutest street punk I ever did see.
I sure would be delighted with your company,
come on and do the Shogun Rock with me."
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock,
Everybody in Shogun’s whole flock,
was dancin' to the Shogun Rock.

Armakuni was a jumpin' over a huge stone,
way over in Central Park running all alone.
Kunitoki said, "Hey, Ninja, don't you be no square,
If you can't find a partner dance with the cop there."
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock,
Everybody in Shogun’s whole flock,
was dancin' to the Shogun Rock.

Armakuni said to the brotherhood , "For Heaven's sake,
no one's lookin', now's our chance to make a break."
Ninjas turned to him and they said, "Nix, nix,
We wanna stick around a while and get our kicks."
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock,
Everybody in Shogun’s whole flock,
was dancin' to the Shogun Rock.
